Where's a good place to start if you're new to urban exploring?

My friend and I did Southglenn mall when they were demolishing it. Rubber Gates has always been one of those "we should" places, but since the Westword article I'm assuming that it's locked up tight with everyone and their mother watching. Plus, I don't think we're that experienced, and elevator shafts don't sound like fun. (But while I'm here: Is anyone else planning on going to Rubber Gates soon? We'll bake you cookies if you tell us how it goes.)

Southglenn mall

Hey, I see that you said you also checked out Southglenn while they were tearing it down! Me and my brother were checking it out about every week a bit before and while they were tearing it down also. That was awesome to check it all out, the stores, areas in and behind the stores, all of the old Dillards building. And to top it off, we took a bunch of stuff out of there also. Mirrors and some cool lights from Dillards, some stuff from the A&F store, glass shelves, and even the Victoria's Secret glass sign. Surprising we never ran into each other. If you guys ever have anywhere else to check out, post it or we can meet up!
